Operational members are responsible for
performing the daily operations of the department. These members are
the Emergency Medical Technicians, Rescue Technicians and firefighters who
respond on calls. Operational members also perform administrative
functions, assist at fund raising events and other department activities.

We allow prospective members to observe
our operations on incidents as long as they meet the following requirements:
- 16 years or older (Must have parents
permission if under 18 years old)
- Sign a liability waver
- Wear appropriate attire. (closed toe
shoes, long pants and appropriate shirt)
Operational members must meet certain
criteria to maintain their membership:
- Standby for 8 hours a week or answer
a certain number of calls
- Maintain CPR certification
- Obtain certification as an EMT-B or
higher
- Obtain Hazardous Materials Operations
certification
- Obtain incident management
certification

- Obtain other certifications as
needed.
- Attend 6 monthly company meetings
