Our rescue squad is the first due rescue squad for approximately 90 square miles of Southeastern Washington County.  RS69 is dispatched on all vehicle accidents, structure fires and specialty rescues within that area assisting 5 other companies with an average annual call volume of 130 calls.

Rescue Squad 69 is a 2002 Pierce Dash HDR with a 430 HP Detroit Diesel Series 60 motor and an Allison automatic transmission.  Electrical power is supplied by a 30KW Harrison hydraulic generator to the 9KW light tower, 10.5KW of vehicle mounted scene lights and 2 - 250' cord reels.  There are 5 pre-connected Hurst tool reels including a bumper mounted Maverick Tool.  RS69 is equipped with 2 winches, a 20,000 lb rear mounted Braden hydraulic winch and a 9,000 lb Warn portable electric winch.  The rescue squad is completely equipped to meet and exceed State and County standards as a heavy rescue squad and as a BLS first response unit.
